WHO READNEXT MAY BE FOR

They don't need to be starting from the beginning.

ReadNext may be suitable for learners who are still building their Qur'an-reading foundations — whether they're learning the basics or have already learnt several reading skills but still need support recognising and applying them when the reading changes.

Still learning the foundations

They may be learning letters, sounds, short vowels or how letters connect and change when joined.

Knows some rules, but hesitates

They may have learnt things such as sukūn or shaddah, but find it harder to recognise and use what they know when the example looks unfamiliar.

Needs support reading the Qur'an

They may be able to work through familiar exercises but still need support bringing those skills into the Qur'an.

ReadNext focuses on building the foundations for reading the Qur’an with increasing independence. It is not currently a dedicated tajweed program.

The ReadNext Qur'an reading program

The fuller ReadNext program is being developed around live teaching, opportunities to revisit learning and practise between lessons, and regular opportunities to apply learning while reading the Qur'an.

You don't need to prepare a perfect description.

The application simply helps me understand who the learner is, what their reading currently looks like and what kind of support you're looking for.

If you're unsure how to describe their level, that's completely fine. You don't need to know the name of their Qaidah level or every rule they have covered.
